Have A Go Activities Print

At the Kent County Fair there are many opportunities for visitors to 'have- a -go' at different activities and attractions;

Country Pursuits- There will be a Laser clay shooting range and Archery

Off Road Arena- For those adrenalin junkies there are; off road 4x4 rides, tanks rides and Quad bikes.

 

Companion Dog Show- The Companion dog show will take place throughout the weekend with many breed and novelty classes to enter- Just bring your dog along and join in! -

Dash 'N' Splash For those dogs that love water there is Dash ‘n’ Splash, a 40ft jumping pool, where dogs leap into the water in a measured long jump, this is a fun attraction whatever your age but prepare to get wet!. There will also be a number of doggy water sports for anyone to have a go. For more information visit the Dash 'n' Splash website

Dogstable Course- This is a great and safe way to involve visitors to the show with their own pet dogs.  It consists of a handler and dog negotiating together an obstacle course consisting of tunnel, gate, jumps and road works etc.   You can negotiate the course with your dog on or off its lead and it's just £1 to have a go and all proceeds go towards a local charity.

Terrier racing- Take part in the numerous races throughout the day, all dogs welcome!

New for 2010 will be a large EcoVillage where visitors can learn all about eco friendly products and services, there will also be a new small holders area with advice for anyone looking to live the 'good life' with information on keeping chickens, growing your own vegetables and many  local producers.
